What does it mean to you to be in super soul flow? Since March, I have been volunteering as a Creatively Fit Guide for the March 2024 CCFC participants. Their first trimester was spent submerging themselves in Vision Quest, which is a structured, guided, meditative painting practice. The overall focus of this part of the program is to encourage balancing the right/left hemispheres of the brain, creative/analytical.
We are currently beginning the second trimester, which is taking all that was learned in the first portion and applying it to our daily lives and painting practice. When I went through this training in 2023 as a participant, it became my favorite portion of the entire program. I've decided to take you along the journey I embarked on last year, which has contributed to where I am today...guiding others to awaken their creativity! The message I received:
"You are ready to emerge! Allow the elements to speak to you as you immerse yourself in nature. Carry the beauty and delight you experience out to others. Your joy and enthusiasm is infectious. Guide others to discover their creative spirit, which is within every soul. Share this sacred painting practice boldly and let your radiance shine!"
For those of you who know me, this may come as a bit of a surprise, however, I tend to me more of an introvert rather than an extrovert. Stepping out "boldly" is taking a HUGE amount of courage for me!
To be in complete super soul flow, involves tapping into different aspects of ourselves through meditation and deep reflection and listening to our inner guidance. It is always there, waiting patiently to guide us. The first aspect I encountered was: Confidence. I felt gentleness, inner strength, and encouragement. Her message was: "Be patient as you prepare."
And here I am, one year later, embodying her message and characteristics! Over the next. few weeks, I will share my take-aways from this course. Until then, I encourage you to connect to your inner guidance...she/he is there, waiting patiently for you to awaken to her/his presence!
